Photographed by Guillaume Louyot, Pathé Cinema, Paris captures a monumental cinema façade emerging from deep shadow, caught between architecture, artificial light and an almost theatrical Parisian sky.

A sharp shaft of light cuts across the building while the Pathé lettering gradually disappears into darkness. Above it, a luminous cloud gives the scene an almost unreal presence. Stripped of colour and everyday movement, the cinema becomes something more ambiguous: part urban landmark, part film set, part memory of a disappearing Paris.

Available in two signed and numbered Fine Art editions, each print is produced to order in Paris, individually inspected and hand signed by Guillaume Louyot.

Print details

The A4 edition is printed on a carefully selected cotton baryta Fine Art paper, chosen for its ability to reproduce deep blacks, controlled highlights and subtle tonal separation throughout the façade and sky.

The photograph has been prepared specifically for print to preserve detail within its darkest areas while retaining the dramatic contrast and restrained luminosity of the original image.
